Competitions
As well as the Newcastle Phoenix Criterium series and the Best All Rounder competition you may like to visit the British Cycling website for information on other competitions for young riders in the North East.
The North East Youth League are putting on a series at the Redcar & Cleveland Off Road Centre, South Bank, Middlesbrough. The dates are: 17 & 31 May, 14 & 28 June and 12 & 26 July 2010. The format is similar to the Newcastle Criterium.
Also at the same location is League 2000 which is hosted by Cleveland Wheelers Cycling Club and Stockton Wheelers Cycling Club with a variety of time trials, skills loop and handicap races. Dates are: 19 & 26 April, May 3, 10 & 24, June 7 & 21, July 5 & 19 and August 2, 9 & 16 2010.
Finally there is the Northern Rock Cyclone on Friday 11th June 2010, including the Leazes Criterium. Details are on the Events page.
